The guardian of the fabled Cindergems, Sage was hidden within an elaborate illusion of a defunct gem mine on the small island of Roview. This changed when Thai, Bosco, and their companion Morz, infiltrated and stole the gems, forcing him to come out of hiding. The trio made a deal with the Dragon, spare their lives and they will help him find a better place to hide the gems. He accepted.
