While the stories of Collateral Damage and the Mercurial Avengers explore the insane odds of success (and hopefully coming out on top), there have been many other parties and many other attempts to stop the Constable and his plans. According to the Constable, none of these previous parties has succeeded in their attempts, and the few planes that have survived have done so with the help of one of Collateral Damage’s alternates.
